Vengeance Sound Avenger 2.4: flagship Synthesizer gets new creative features - 26 March 2025

Vengeance Sound Avenger 2: version 2 of its flagship Synthesizer plugin with mighty new features, including spectral granular, and more.

The free update adds another set of three creating insert FXs to the synths. Ruta Chorus is a new multi-effect that allows you to create fully customizable reverbs, flanging, and Special effects. Instead, it’s a weird naming decision.

Then, Ruta Distortion is a new distortion effect with four algorithms for warm, mid-range drives, ideal for chords or basslines. Next, you have Phase Puncher, a “phaser trick” with a 64-phaser layer option to create spiky attacks and Psy-basses.

That’s not all. It also hosts a new creative ARP mode “Custom” designs for creating new patterns freely apart from the up/down/alternate… options. You can even craft polyphonic arps. Other additions are:

• new mod source “Math/Increment N vc”, which is per voice incrementing – each new voice has a new value.
• options when generating previews for single presets. (octave, duration, chord/single note, etc)
• 50 new Q4ntum Presets by Manuel Schleis and many more other new FX presets… 70 new Arp Presets (for the new “Custom” mode)

It also comes with other smaller improvements and bug fixes.

A further engine-enhanced update with some new neat features. It’s nice to see the synth continuing to grow, even two years after its release.

The new update is free of charge for existing Avenger 2 users.

Thanks for the update. This piece of software is not a synth, it's a complete candyshop for soundlovers.

 

I am still tinkering but it has huge potential especially polphonic arps.

How you getting on with it being that you are probably a lot further down the road than I am?

 

If I am I'm not that far ahead. I've not really had Avenger for very long.

I also don't get as much time as I used to for things like this anymore.
