HI,
As the title says, VAST Dynamics Vaporizer2 v2.1.4 from R2R si not showing.

I cant see it under win 7 x64 SP1, Reaper x64

It's installed in the right place, I can see the dll , the reg file is in it's place too, but no show.

Any help/explanation is welcome.

 

The dev has put out a ton of updates frequently over the course of this year. I don't know if the latest version would work with an R2R keyfile but you could perhaps try to install it and see if it shows up. They fixed a load of bugs too.

VAST Dynamics Vaporizer2 v2.1.4 working fine here. Win 7x64. Reaper 5.983 x64 ...License file in Documents\Vast Dynamics\Vaporizer 2. Works in both vst2 and vst3 x64.

 

Tried it, after uninstalling and cleaning the regsiter, but nothing.

Tried this too, but no lucks either...

I've even moved the licence key from progamfiles folder to the vst one ... but nada.

 

Now I've even changed Reaper config and pointed manually to VASTvaporizer2 vst folder, and tried with the actual trial version, but nothing.
Please No Avenger would you be so kind to send me your dll ?

 

Could be, but not very probable, as all other plugins work well.
And it's not like it does not work (graphic card driver) it's that reaper does not even see it.

 

What is the installation path in your case?
Is it
C:\Program Files\VstPlugins\Vaporizer2\
?

 

Update VAST vaporizer to 2.5.0 or 2.5.1
It works with old k*yg~n. All the versions i tried, worked, now I am on 2.4.2 or so, didn't try 2.5, but imho it works.
Since 2.1.x it is a great huge upgrade (tons of new additions, features, improvements, fixes, overall optimizations). Maybe your problem also will be solved. You can find a full installer with k#yg%n and addon and presets on r"tr"cker.
Interesting thing, that on our brothersite people wait for new updates, while on rtrckr people already use new installers with working old k&yg+ns without any problems.

Feel free to rename your dll as well. Sometimes it solves problem such as "2 different plugins, 1 name", or something else.

That's because AudioZ respect the wish from R2R not to distribute repacks of their work.

Yes I can try this too, but I didnt had anything installed for this company so I doubt that double name is the problem.

But you can try it for yourself to install the latest version with their kgen. Why not?
Maybe this will solve your problem and your synth will be fresher. And try to rename dll also.

 

Of course, I can do this privately, and I've done it, but with the same result.
My answer was only to explain why this is not posted at AZ.

 

Reaper is still scanning plugins, as I had to interrupt the operation yesterday.

But suddenly I think, maybe this plugin needs to connect to internet to work?
I have Reaper blocked, so I dont have worry about plugins calling home.

 

The scan is finished now, and unfortunately, the synth is not showing...
So I give up.

The time credit I could spend on this is finish.
