That's true, but this particular one is also an example of people who just regurgitate others' comments as factual, about stuff like some "pass the message" game. By the time many people even see Reaktor on a screen, they are more than willing to tell you all about how complicated it is. Or in the case of emulations, very happy to explain on their Youtube how accurate some are to their various hardware origins when they are crazy expensive synths older than they are, or my favorite; comparing emulations of large format console mixers no-one will ever even let them touch.

The last part is almost funny when it is really a slap in the face. For example, Neve desks and Studer machines were amazing. The maintenance electronically and the ferric-oxide degradation on the tapes and head cleaning were the biggest downside. The other about-face is that in full analog days, engineers were trying to reduce bleed crossing from track to track. Now it's almost like people want more bleed. I do not know whether to shake my head, laugh or facepalm. As for comparisons, I think the worst thing any marketing for a plugin puts across, is when they say it is a perfect emulation. If they were really smart, they'd just say they did their best to faithfully recreate the sound of it.

Think carefully about what you really need.
All cheap offers from UVI will come back and at Christmas or on Black Friday you will always get good discounts.

How is venture capital trying to ruin every music company?

There are companies such as hedge funds that manage investors' money. Money is always looking for investment
opportunities, so the aim is to generate returns or profits. These companies are also known as locusts.

They buy up a company cheaply and sell it on at a higher price.
Or they buy a company, rationalize work processes and lay off some employees to save costs, the savings are then their profit.

Often the remaining employees no longer receive pay rises, the service and customer advice is reduced.
The speed of work is increased, work pressure and dissatisfaction rise in the company concerned.

Before they were bought up, the company's profits flowed into the real economy or new employees were hired or new
machines were purchased, now the profits flow directly abroad and the profits are then used for further speculation.

As soon as it becomes clear that the company is no longer making money, it is either sold on at a profit or closed down.

So it seems that that the venture capital don't deliberately aim at ruining a company's success. They simply often fail to develop the company's success, and in that scenario they quit, right?

But I guess there are also examples of successful help of vc? where thanks to the investment of vc, a compnany thrives...

Per se, the aim is to invest investors' money profitably. These are companies that take a very close look before they make an investment, if they make too many mistakes they are either terminated and replaced, if they gamble too often they disappear from the market or are themselves bought up or taken over by a large hedge fund.

WEF is a German company that was suffering from competition, the hedge fund bought the company for 100 million euros, put in its own management and then sold the company for 800,000 million euros, so there is a net profit of 700,000 euros, some of the money gained is distributed to your investors, Part of it is used to buy profitable shares and part to reinvest or make future purchases. If you do your job well, you can become very rich and other investors will go to hedge funds because they generate returns, i.e. profits.

They very often succeed in generating profits by rationalizing or raising prices, at the expense of the employees, and the profits go directly abroad and do not remain in the country where the company operates, thus depriving the respective countries of capital, tax revenues and jobs.

In the case of Native Instruments, it is also a foreign investor who was the first to lay off people, discontinue products that were not selling well and discontinue labor-intensive services. For most of the employees, losing their jobs was a disaster. For many customers it was also very bad because some purchased products were not supported, for example new drivers were not available.

Native Instruments: Majority shares sold to investor

Native Instruments, the Berlin-based developer, manufacturer, and provider of music software and hardware, has sold the majority of its shares. The new owner is the investment firm Francisco Partners, which specializes primarily in technology companies and has noticed Native Instruments' growth over the past year.

Since its founding in Berlin in 1996, Native Instruments has established itself as one of the world's leading manufacturers of software and hardware for audio production and DJing. The company employs 400 people worldwide, operates seven global offices, and is active in more than 180 countries.

In 2017, EMH (a Munich-based investor) invested €50 million in Native Instruments, followed by a further investment in 2020 to achieve a majority stake. Since then, NI's revenue has increased by 60 percent, partly due to significant restructuring measures that resulted in the layoff of approximately 20 percent of the workforce. Both EMH Partners and the founding shareholders of NI will remain involved in NI as significant minority shareholders.

Constantin Koehncke, CEO of Native Instruments, said in a press release:
"We are thrilled to join forces with Francisco Partners to begin the next phase of our journey. We combine their global resources and expertise with our passionate team, our deep relationships within the music industry, and our proven track record of technical innovation.”

Matt Spetzler, Co-Head Europe and Partner at Francisco Partners, who will join Native Instruments' board, added: “We look forward to working with the management team and existing shareholder group, leveraging our broad operational and strategic experience, as well as our M&A capabilities, to help the company accelerate its growth trajectory.”

most of what we've seen so far is the release of products that are a lower standard than the companies would release pre-buyout
