can't wait to try it, havn't been able to get my download connection to work for 3 days now, so that's beginning to piss me off. support is non existent at the moment due to other priorities, so they were not really ready to release this yet, on the plus side it is still within the intial discount price offer that still has a week to run before it goes up a 1/3rd in price and they do also give you a $100 voucher off any library's you wish to buy. I went for the minimoog pack as they'll just be so cool to use within falcon. Thats one of the reason's I bought so quickly, the fact that you can access your existing uvi library's within falcon, or import samples to make your own instruments and use some stellar fx for the price, it's a no brainer if your familiar to the quality of the audio, and with so little effort on the user's part needed to achieve high quality results, that i find it worth it just for the time saved. One thing i'm looking to try is to see if I can load finished audio stem parts into the sampler and trigger them to play back like they would with the daw sequencer and hopefully not come up against any size limits, should still be possible if i cut the part into sections if i can be bothered and for more complex work would save having to play back from the beginning every time but I could then use as a modular processor as well with this method.
Falcon can be used in multiple instances within the workstation environment for easy saving options or on it's own as vst or standalone for live work which is good addition. I'm expecting sample library's to be made available by third party's now. they only need to consider whether they want to release without protection or work with uvi and their ufs protected format but it's always possible uvi may want to keep that to themselves to protect their own library sales. One thing I am looking forward to at last for uvi is a creative sharing user base.

on win it's pure pita... the fastest crash appears when you selecting a library "in a wrong way" (double clicking), but there are many, many ways to crash m5. however, I think m5 is capable of a lot more than e.g. kontakt. i also produces some songs with m5, but as long as it's crashing every bunch of minutes i'm out. that's why i consider to buy falcon...

if anyone could report about win stability . . .

I have on windows 7...not a problem, I have also installed all my Uvi libraries as well and no problems, so stability is perfect :]
at the introduction price it is very good, as far as support , I have had nothing but excellent,, I think there support is one of the best (compared to NI and others) I had issues previously with Ilok and Uvi did a lot of work t help out as well, Highly recommend
