I hate posting threads like this, but I can't figure out how to install the library. I've followed the read me etc. The library is in the C:\ProgramData\UVI\Falcon folder, but it will not give me the option in the program to access the folder. I've made it no longer hidden too, but the software doesn't recognize this apparently.

R2R I think I figured it out though, I'm on the right track just the folder ProgramData isn't recognized in the library menu of the software. I think all these folders are dumb, C:/User/Pc/Documents C:/ProgramData.. hell we used to istall eveything to C:/ and C:/ProgramFiles lol

I'm happy to say I now have the libraries working, wow these are great sounds and emaculate quality.

I bet others have had the same problem as well being that the software doesn't detect the C:/ProgramData/UVI/Falcon folder. I made a folder called Falcon Libraries under C:/users/pc/Ducuments/UVI/Falcon, however you still have to leave the FalconResources.usf file in that same directory C:/ProgramData/UVI/Falcon, if not you get an error. I'm assuming the folder is not deteted since technically it is a hidden folder. I went to my settings and enabled the ability to see hidden folders, before that I was hella confused because I'd read about putting stuff in C:/ProgramData directory but I had no idea how to access the folder outiside of Windows Explorer. I become pretty pissed off not knowing how to find the folder and I searched it up. Like I said Microsoft just had to go and change every freaking thing and make installations far more difficult than they were. We used to only have C:/ and C:/Program Files as installation directories, or whatever you selected as your HDD. You can only imagine my first reaction and surprise when I saw that data was being written to and intalled to C:/user/pc/Documents, or the whole Roaming folder crap, which I still don't get. Now I have like 4 VST folder locations, which is nuts. I need to move them into the C:/Program Files/VstPlugins but some are installed to C:/Program Files/Common Files/VST3 or C:/Program Files/Common Files/VST2. I'm honestly not sure if it's safe to move them all, or if they will stop working or not if I do. I really don't know the differences between VST, VST2, or VST3 honestly, hell did we have a them all back then? I thought everything was simply .vst, of course I'm talking 15-20 years ago.

As @dondada says, symlinks are a great way to go, but just remember certain aspects:
(Note: Note: maybe someone will provide a tip for this issues, such as alternative programs to Windows defaults, etc)
    1) Searching THROUGH symlinks doesn't work right, and you may think Windows search needs fixing.
You need to do searches in the real folder. (if you forget where the symlink is pointing, you can get there by right-clicking the symlink and looking at "Link Properties" & "Open file Location" button.)

    2) When copying folders that have symlinks in them, symlinks turn into just empty folders (with the same name).
That is very annoying so I first tried compressing them with Winrar and then extracting to the new location.
That gives an error about "unsafe" files (the symlinks) but if one chooses "Extract..." you can then choose options and select "Allow absolute paths" and it will recreate the symlinks.
Another way is to use some other copying program that copies symlinks right.
I use "Free File Sync" for that and it works great.
I actually use that program for mirroring my several drives, which i do once a week in a batch file.
It can just update whatever has changed, so it saves a lot of time and drive life.
It is free, but i donated (twice so far) because i use the hell out of it and it is a great program.

Thanks, I figured it out though when the first person posted the guide. I'm all good now, I think it just wouldn't recognize the ProgramData folder since its technically hidden.
