I was able to run Falcon 3.0.1 in CrossGridder 1.5. I enabled D3DMetal in the Advanced Settings in Crossover 23.6.

 

Hey i was trying it yesterday with crossovoer 22 but couldnt get it to work ! will try it now again thank you for posting ! are you on silicon or intel ?

hi guyz I have a Question does Falcon works slowly ? or is it playable using crossover I think I have an older version that v22 does it matter ?
ps you edit R2R emulator the same way?

hello how's the cpu usage of of crossgridder 1.5 falcon I used silika by Kush audio and cpu usage was high. even if put audiogridder in Ableton the cpu usage is 37%

 

I have an M2 Max, so it's low.

 

M2 Max. Running Sonoma, too.

 

Falcon performs very well. A few presets needed to have their polyphony lowered but it didn't really change those presets' overall sound.

Ignore this - just installed 23.6 from the sister site - dead easy and works first time and MUCH faster than v22

 

can everywhere to say us how it work i have install crossover but i have everytime the message runtime error so we need a tutorial please buddy

Hoping all are good.

Great to see someone able to get this Falcon v3.0.1 installed and working.

I am able to get it installed and once open I cannot change any settings, it is as if the program interface is frozen.
Had the same exact experience with v2.8.6.

My setup is a 2019 MacBook Pro 2.4 64GB running Catalina 10.15.7.

Any tips would be much appreciated.

I am able to get v2.5.3 working without any issues.
v2.8.6 and v3.0.1 loads but it does not allow for any setting changes, it is as if its frozen.

What setup are you Good People using to get v3.0.1 running?

I got it working before by, pressing options/settings icon on falcon (can't see it now so just look for a settings icon). it won't do nothing, close plugin gui , open it again it should show settings window. I changed mine to open gl I think.or whatever the setting was on I changed it ,but change the open gl setting. close gui , open again and should work.

At last I am getting somewhere. Seems I was able to progress thanks to your feedback. In v2.8.6 I was able to select the "Use OpenGL renderer".

I closed the gui several times and upon restarting I can now click on the interface with a response. I can get into the Preference menu but I cannot get to the SoundBanks section to create the path to the soundbanks.

Any additional insight would be much appreciated when your time permits.

Ok just looked and I don't have it in anymore.
but ,Think I installed uvi workstation r2 vrsn . from sis site. and copied falc banks into where uv workstation ones go. so they're in both, and I think they showed up in falc. ?

Your feedback and support has been an absolute game changer!
I went from a steep learning curve finding out about AudioGridder / CrossGridder, while trying to find the correct combo setup for my DAW (still working on it). After spending a couple of weeks researching and searching various forums your tip was the one that took it to the next level.

Since Falcon v2.5.3 was working I made sure the soundbank libraries would load. Than I install v2.8.6 over top of v2.5.3. Upon opening v2.8.6 I followed your steps to active the OpenGL renderer. Now I have v2.8.6 working enough to get the job done. SUPER THANK YOU!
