    Hi,
    does anyone of you know a sound utility to create faultless loop points automatically?
    I always did it manually with Audio Finder. I was wondering if there is maybe a better tool available,
    as standalone or within a DAW, which could relieve oneself the job of finding appropriate loop points,
    no matter whether it´s for Mac or Win?

    Thanks for answering.

    Kontakt does ... find loop long. Find loop short. Snap to zero. Makes seamless loop points.

    I'm not sure if that's what you mean.

    I'm not sure what do you mean by faultless loop points.
    Try ReCyle by Propellerheads.

    To my shame i am working with Kontakt for some time already, but didn´t care for the loop editing possibilities. This is weird. Sometimes it seems like i don´t see the forest because of all the trees....
    Thanks - and i will try out Recycle too.

    NI=not intuitive

    There are some good video tutorials for kontakt about.

    Kontakt has stupid pokey menues and is not intuitive in the slightest.

    Computer Music mag has something called Xfadelooper in it's free plugins folder. I've not got round to using it myself yet but it's supposed to do what you're asking for http://www.expert-sleepers.co.uk/index_files/xfadelooper-cm-available-now.php

    I know this plug. It´s the very first plugin i was playing with some years ago. Crossfade Loop Synth fell somehow into oblivion, because it is a realtime Loop Player without the ability to save the created Sound Loops. I didn´t know much about how to work with DAW´s that time....
    Interesting Tool. Thanks for remembering me.

    That´s right. Anyway Kontakt is outstanding. I don´t like to read manuals, i love to find out functions just by checking, testing, fumbling.
    But this is a hard job with Kontakt. I want to go deeper into it now....just discovered a good tutorial in AudioZ.
