I've got a legit version of cubase 10 using a dongle. Is there a known way how to have it run on 2 computers without having to keep switching the dongles?

No....you must switch the dongle!

 

Edited .. sorry my bad, i have cubase for years and just realized that Elicenser is actually just for the Elicenser validated the Dongle, it is bound to the computer.. so there is no way to use in other computer .. unless you use more dongles here like mine ..

yea you buy a second legit license

 

just install "USB over LAN" app. BUT, u cant use 2 Cubase Pro running the same time , its just a convenient way to not change the Dongle from PC to PC.

Offcourse can you use 2 Computers, but not at the same time, just plug the dongle into the computer you want to use, it's not bound to a specific computer. Another Solution is a Dongle Server.

Edit: I tested USB Network Gate and it Works. I run Cubase 10.5 Pro on my Laptop without Dongleswitching :D

sure it works, i do the same (btw it should work via the Internetz too, some Network guy told me, but i didnt try yet).
