Using FX Racks From Mac in Windows

    Hey guys, does anyone know if I can use fx chains or racks that I create on a mac in windows? Or is that not possible?

    Ok, like I all wanna know is can I make an fx chain using just live's native plugins on a mac, and then export these chains and use them in live on windows?

    works! got some adgs from a friend who has a mac and there was no problems opening them. :wink:

    Awesome! that's great news because I'm working on a site and I wanna offer producers custom fx chains and cool stuff like that. So that makes life much easier that it works cross platform :D

    Any racks you made in mac can be playable on PC for sure but if your racks contains ( on Mac) vst plugs, you obviously need to have it installed on the windows platform .
    Or if it's not possible ,for example AU plugs not comes with a VST "bro.", you can render the sound and make it as Simpler and/or Sampler available for any Ableton's user at least.
    Idem for fx rack . You render 100% wet ant create a rack with . Containing this Simpler/Sampler which would be the wet sound, create another chain that will be the dry sound.
    And voila.
