Anyone got any experience with this? I have an elicenser and an ilok. Is it safe and compatible to run the emulator for some softwarez and be using this also? Any info much appreciated!

I am running non legit hypersonic 2 (Because you really cannot buy it anymore) on OS X with a legit copy of Halion 5 and it works fine. As far as non legit mixed with licensed copies your software on the key should be fine, you likely wont run a risk of deactivation. Worst case scenario with an E-licenser is it just wont work. With I-lok though, I dont know because the only product I own that uses it is pro tools.

I think I tried a few things before it works fine.

I still can't go threw the process, when you open the eLicenser there's few steps as "update" etc...
I got an error message for one of the step but that doesn't matter, plugins work just fine and I can still add or delete one when I want !

Never had any issue for years.

I'm on Mac though...

 

I have heard that if you save a cracked soft e-license to your dongle it will be activated for life on your dongle, then you can delete the soft e-license. Just what I've heard though, don't own any e-licensed products.

I confirm. just don't ever lose the key. You're good to buy the product if it happened.
I used to use a bad version of Arturia Modular Moog emulation vs. Nexus2, no problem there.

 

I had all cracked Arturia plugs on an eLicenser, then bought a legit WaveLab. As soon as I tried to use WaveLab either all the Arturia plugs wouldn't work with an authorized WaveLab or it would be the other way around, with only the Arturia cracks working not WaveLab. All this was on OSX by the way, about a year ago... and with me going back and forth with wiping out the eLicenser and reinstalling either the plugs or WaveLab.

It became such a pain in the ass, but I think the problem was because the Arturia plug-ins (2009) were installed using an older version of the eLicenser, and WaveLab (2012) had to be on a newer version.

I can't say for Win7 and I don't know what software you intend to use, but this was my actual experience with what you're asking about anyway. By comparison, I never had a problem with cracked iLok and legit iLok products. Although you'll probably find that's not the case anymore with iLok2 (nothing cracked for it as yet).

 

No Man if you want Software that has a elicenser or ilok you should just buy it is Not worth the Headache we were lucky enough a few years back to get a lot of the iLok stuff and a few elicense stuff so until a Bad Ass Team comes out we have to wait ( i know there are guy's out there that can do it but I they probably think there are better things they can be doing with there time then thinking about doing Plugins

 

What about the new reason protection? I have a legit Reason. But wish to use a Cr recycle. ? I know cr reason wouldnt work with an ignition key for old record. so wondering if the new soft protection will work with a cr recycle.

I have a question concerning iLok 2 so i didn't want to start a new topic and thought i'd better post my question here.

I'm planning to buy an iLok 2 for purchasing several plugins..

IF i used a cracked DAW (with several other scene-released plugins) would i except any problems by using BOTH the iLok (with LEGIT plugins) and the cracked DAW and plugins.
Anyone here using that combination? I have to complete: i'm running an offline-computer just for music production and mixing.
(that would be my 2nd question). It is possible to run an iLok on an offline-computer, isn't it? I guess i can handle license-management on a seperate computer/laptop. Is that correct?

Maybe i have to complete that on the iLok there would be exclusively legit licenses.
All the other cracked plugins are pre-patched respectively don't need iLok drivers or anything like that to run.

 

No problems here, i have an ilok, ilok2 and elicenser with a mix of cracks that use both. Im trying to slowly get to 100% legit thought.

 

Thanks for the answer man. Aiming for that too, but i don't want to start from scratch. so ,this is good news, i now can gradually buy the one's i prefer without loosing the cracked ones.

 

I have a legit Nexus but I have a friend that supposedly has a keygen for Nexus 2. I wonder if I can get the serial onto one of my spare Steinberg Key's.

I have legit ilok and soft licenser and i have many legit app on it and it work fine with ssh ilok plug on mac .... all work fine side by side... El capitan latest update....
