    Hi all,
i`m very limited in my Budget and i found this Components, to upgrade from my very old amd 2 core.
The PC will mostly be running Ableton, plus quite a few VST instruments and FX in each project, but I'm not a heavy Kontakt User.
What do you think ? Costs about 300€. Any advice is appreciated.

It is just fine. I recently built a similar system with a Ryzen 2600, atm it's the best budget cpu you can buy.
Just replace the Samsung 860 with a Samsung 970 Evo Plus, at the same capacity it is about 20€ more expensive but a lot faster. When used as a system drive it will make every operation feel much snappier.
    Cheers

Take a look at these motherboards:
    ASRock B450 Steel Legend
    Asus ROG STRIX B450-E GAMING
    Asus TUF B450M-PRO GAMING
    Asus TUF B450-Pro Gaming
    MSI B450M MORTAR MAX

Better specs overall & will keep you in the upgrade path. They should also work with Ryzen 3000 series without the need to flash the bios.

The 860 EVO is just a SATA 3 drive no different then a 2.5" SSD

NVMe M.2 drives comparable to the 970 EVO in real world use:
    Western Digital Black 500GB M.2-2280
    ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 512GB M.2-2280

The cost savings could go toward with of the alternate motherboards.

Thanks Mates for all your tips and advices. Very helpful !
I think, i`ll go with the MSI Mortar Max Mainboard ( good reviews , works great with Ryzen, no BIOS Flash needed )
and the Adata XPG 512GB ( Price unbeatable )
much better specs for only 50 Bucks more.
Thanks again ! This Community rocks !!
