Hi guys,
New here, Currently have logic 5.5.1 - use it to make tracks as well as compose notation.
I am looking for something that has a very similar workflow and interface as logic 5.5.1 but has to work on windows 10. Kind of at a loss - looking at reaper and studio one 3 but unsure what the best path is.

If you get along well with Logic 5.5.1, Reaper should be the best choice.
I say that because Reaper is quite customisable, has good performance and lots of on-board FX, although not as fancy-looking as the Logic plugin GUIs. There are Logic themes for it, if you insist on the same looks.
But don't even expect a similar workflow.
You'll have to learn it, and that takes time. There is no such thing as a Windows-compatible successor to Logic 5/Win in terms of "very similar workflow".

However, what the best path is: It's YOUR path! Nobody here knows your personal preferences.
You have to find out for yourself.

Another path might be to install macOS and use Logic X
