Updating from S1 3.1.1 to 3.2

    Just a quick question, what will be the best way to update my current 3.1.1 version from S1 to the new 3.2.1?

    i) uninstall 3.1.1, delete folders, registry entries, etc.
    ii) run the 3.2.1 and install over the current version, asuming the installer will recognize the older one.

    Wich folder i have to keep in mind for back ups?
    I dont have many fx chains or presets stored, and my songs are in a external hdd.

    Just update. No settings will be overwritten. If you want you can backup the Studio One "settings" folder just as I did. It's located in the %users%\AppData\Roaming\Presonus\Studio One 3 folder.

    It´s weird that either the Presonus site or the txt file with the installer don´t give any instructions on how to do if you already have another version installed. I look up forums, both official and unofficial and couldn´t find a thing.

    Solved

    I renamed the folder
    %users%\AppData\Roaming\Presonus\Studio One 3
    then compressed to a .rar and uninstalled the version 3.1.1
    Installed S1 3.2.1 and it works perfectly and no problem opening the old 3.1 songs and projects. All plugins are up!
    thanks everybody for the help,
    now i´ve to make Melodyne work with S1.
