I downloaded the new files and successfully unzipped them, but unfortunately neither Studio One nor Cubase can find the vst3... I don't know what to do next.

 

There is a specific set of instructions. Have ALL of the instructions been checked off one by one as being COMPLETED to the letter?

1. Copy the BBC Symphony Orchestra (64 Bit).vst3 plugin file to: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

2. Copy the Patch.dll file to the root directory of your DAW.

3. Copy the Spitfire Audio folder to: C:\Users\ (your computer username)\AppData\Roaming

4. Open the Spitfire Audio folder you copied, go into the Settings folder, find the Spitfire.properties file, and edit the library path inside to link the library.
Note: Use double backslashes (\\).

5. Double-click the license.reg file, click “Yes,” and import the registration information.

6. Open your DAW, load the plugin, and enjoy.

So this should only open in your DAW and NOT in any other VST plugin host like Komplete Kontrol? I tried to open the VST3 in Komplete Kontrol and it just errored out...Not able to load any presets or patches.

If you find this release on the Comrade Tracker it will be already uncompressed. It will be the full size too, but no ratio to care about that way.
And if you happen to have a debrid account with a service that has torrenting capabilities, you could just give it a magnet link and let it go fetch the entire thing for you. Then when it is complete, just download like you would from a website. Also, if someone has already done that using the same service, you wouldn't even need to wait for it to go fetch. I do not do orchestral music, but if I wanted something like this that is how I would do it. Just extracting it would take long enough.

 

Man it took hours to download and hours to extract. The first extraction worked but but the next one was riddled with issues. I may have to try the comarade site

 

Someone commented about it being on there but I do not see it. They actually do take stuff down though, which is a problem when trackers are public and allow search engines like duckduckgo.com to pull results and let users download without an account. On another site, people also mentioned that the corrupted or problematic part is actually the first zip file. I only checked because I noticed your comment and can imagine what it is like to dl 600gb and end up with something that doesn't work. Good reason for them to sell it on a purpose-created SSD.

 

I no longer see it, it was on audioZ and I no longer see it on the commie site lol. I think it was the 2nd zip may have been the first but it said the archive was corrupted.

 

I haven't seen that many zip files listed since the last time I was looking for an e-mu sample cd ISO. Check your pm.

 

I saw one around 133k it was Syntronik

For those who cannot make it work:
The culprit likely are other Spitfire libraries or reverbs installed on your Windows PC. There appears to be some weird interaction going on. On a weirder note: Everything seems to work in CrossOver on a Mac!
