I've got an Ample Guitar SC Elite. At the end of every long note, there's a click. I can't see where it's coming from. It's REALLY irritating. I get it no matter what I do. Using Studio One 5.5.0

    Attached is the sound.

    Anyone got any ideas.

Are the midi settings correct? Not maybe some mpe parameter are set?

Do you mean that last "weird note"? I didn't hear a click, at least a loud one.
I'm assuming it's not, but just in case it is could be a bug/setting in the delay.

Nope, not the problem. Seems to only occur on that one track. Might be something to do with TH-U

    What midicontroller/keyboard do you use?

It came out of the ark! Casio CTK-720. No Mod Wheel and no Pitch wheel Cost me 30 Eurus about 15 years ago.

I tried drawing the notes and also writing the notation - same problem

Which DAW do you use ? Have you installed the latest driver ? Time for a new real midikeyboard ?

How to use the casio ctk 720 as a midi keyboard

Get yourself a copy of Fruity Loops. In the MIDI settings, enable CASIO USB IN as the input and set the controller type to (generic controller). After that, make sure GM Mode is turned on on the Casio's interface and Local is turned off. If you've already installed the Casio's drivers from the included CD, you should be able to use the Casio as a MIDI controller in Fruity Loops, wherein you can do pretty much anything.

    [Drivers] Windows® 7(64-bit)/® 8(64-bit)/® 8.1(64-bit) - Version 1.2

The web page only lists Win-7 and Win-8, because Win-10 had not yet been released when this web page was designed, but most members here, who have downloaded it for Win-10 have had success, but be advised that some Win-10 OS/hardware combinations have no end of problems with USB-MIDI. This appears to be a BIOS issue with certain versions/releases of PC/Laptop hardware. One precaution - if your PC/Laptop is a newer model with USB-2 and USB-3 ports, connect the keyboard's USB port to one of the PC/Laptop's USB-2 ports, as most USB-3 ports have problems with USB-MIDI.

I've got Studio One 5.5.0, Windows 10 on an Asus Prime B250 Pro with 64 GB RAM and an i5 CPU. Casio connects fine. Just missing a Pitch Wheel and a Mod Wheel.
I've also got a Line 6 POD XT Live which also connects fine (not both at the same time!) This 'sound' is only on this track. I can't even find it with Melodyn.

My guess is still a prob with the midi data. Have you checked the automation data? and the midi settings in ample sound?

You mean this at 0:05.917 (where the cursor is)?

That sounds like a triggered note.

Mmmh... just a quick idea. Ample Sound Guitars add "realistic" FXs during the performance, in order to make your guitar sound less "robotic" (i.e., note releases, finger slide noises, etc). The main window allows you to set the volume of those FXs in three different faders: Release sound gain, FX sound gain and Fingering sound toggle & gain.. Maybe you should take a look at your settings and lower those until you are comfortable with the results.

If you want to move on: cut, move/slide/offset waveform, cross-fade and move on to whatever you are working on.

Agree. It's probably some finger noise/fret noise thing.

Spot on - It was the release gain 0.30. I set it back to 0.15 and the sound has gone. Must remember that for long sustained notes using a slow tempo.
