    Yeah, that's weird/crazy shit, in a good way. Me likes.

    Maybe a bit boomy, the cym on the right side too upfront/loud and, ehm, the snare's reverb is shifted a bit to the right (again?).

    @No Avenger I tried to center these sounds, and I think it didn't work :thanks: but that's how Independence sampler works :crazy:

    Wow... This track rocks bro...

    It needs some tweaks in terms of the mix - kick/ lowend too loud? And some himids too harsh?

    But musically its pretty kick ass! Love those drum fills when they come in...

    Great work! :like::like::like:

    I agree about the cymbal.

    Not a bad listen though. Has a secret agent feel. Maybe a good soundtrack, or game track.

    @kooper thank you for the comment, but I still do not know what do you mean? it is this sound library ? because I tried to center it :)

    Has to do with volume (or if you are using MIDI could be velocity). Like we said the cymbal crashes are too loud, and so is the guitar (which makes it feel harsh). He mentions these things but all you got out of it was centering the mix? He points out it's on the right, but he is talking about it being too loud and harsh. It's just too loud and harsh, but not because it's on the right.

    One thing this caused is for the drums to be burried in the mix. Those things are just too loud. Panning is the least of your problems. I think he was just referencing where he hears it in the mix as far as panning goes. Why you latched on to panning as your main problem is hard to figure. Those things are just too loud and thus harsh.

    If you go back and read his comment he calls it "too up front", which means it's too loud! But you got panning from that?

    Well he does mention the verb being shifted (which is panning), but the thing I am agreeing with that he said is about the "too up front". THAT is the part of what he said that I agreed with. He might have been listening with phones so the fx on the snare is more obvious to him. What is immediately obvious in your mix is the "too up front" part. The other thing he mentioned seemed like it was an after thought or secondary to the volume (of cymbal and guitar). If you listen to the cymbal crash it is too much up front (too loud), and so is the guitar too loud in the mix.

    :no:, I know from a reliable source that he used his monitors, it's just his super human perception. [IMG]

    I don't have monitors, I have a communist Hi-Fi set from 1988 :metal:

    I just agreed with you, and he asked me why I agreed, so I HAD to tell him..... Hopefully he latched onto the "too much up front" part.
