LA2A is pretty good

 

I got all of them.

 

I went for the pultec. Was between that and the oxide. Already got the la2a as a freebie earlier. To me there isn't too much of a difference from other la2a's

 

The Logic compressors are more useful to me than the vintage EQs, so I would take the Pultec. That's how I would think about it anyway.

Got the pultec collection cause I not only didn’t already have it but it’s the biggest saving, regularly 149 instead of 49 for the other ones, already claiming the tape echo from plugin boutique later

 

Are they the full versions without time limitation?

tested it.. very very good results. i just going from now on add it to my master channel with slight adjustements

maybe i save some funds and buy the massive passive manley eq too.. uad is very different from waves plugins

Yes it's full version, there is no limitation.

What a shit offering...

They already gave most of these away for free, and the ones they didn't i already own.

 

UAD is special, many of their plug-ins are DSP Only and some are native.

The DSP versions of plug-ins need to have at least one of their gears (sound-card with DSP or a Satellite DSP cores), the entry price for that kind of plug-in is pretty expensive.

The native version work without the need of a UAD gear but they need ilock to be installed to be registered. It's not the case for DSP version the registration is made with UAD console that come with equipement.

The freebie VSTs don't require a sound-card with DSP or a Satellite DSP core, right?
