    You're not that lucky!
Now that you mentioned it and looked into it, I find it useful for creating interesting sounds. :disco:

    Tried it.

On paper it is an absolute monster of a synth. In practise I didn't like the basic sound it produces. The main problem for me I suppose were the envelopes, which struck me as very 'unmusical'.

For weird noise scapes, drones and razor leads, yes.

For more traditional synth sounds, no.

It's powerful but it can easily get "out there". Use Crtl/CMD to make fine adjustments because those adjustments go a long way. Use the 'Q' for quantization functions and keep things in scale. Or disable to fine-tune.

It's a really cool synth. All UA shit is cool.

I've tried it but I never use it.I find it sounds metallic,no really musical like Riot7 wrote.

In short I don't like the Unfiltered audio stuff.

    :dunno: I don't like Unfiltered Audio,sorry...
even though they make unusual and creative plugins, that is cool.I just play rarely with their delay that has a built-in frequency shifter and their distortion,Dent or Indent,i don't remember which one.
I prefer native Instruments,Melda,Valhalla, the others Plugin Alliance plugins for example.

What makes you surprised in my previous post? That I don't like Unfiltered Audio or because I find Lion sounds metallic??

Which of their plugins do you like in paarticular?

their shifter is great...lol...again gyro and shifters...
all there stuff is great from my taste...didnt dip into the synth and last rls'ed plug

the 2 dudes dev said ....all going the analog vintage way/bandwagon at moment...we decided to go the digital way
something like that...i think when they brought out delay and shifter was the time they said that in interview
so it maybe explain some things..

@Blue No, brother. I just really like their stuff. That's the only thing that was surprising.

Sandman Pro. I use that even when I don't need the delay aspect.

Try their Zip compressor) it can replace most of other comressors, it is very flexible and there are no creative useless things inside. Just flexible compressor

There was an issue with the filter analysing in the first release, which I believe is still the one plugin Alliance are pushing out, to get the latest builds go here https://www.unfilteredaudio.com/pages/beta , there’s some from the 26.01.20 that fix an issue with the envelope. Same applys for Triad and Byome. Just drop the files over your older ones, only works for legit versions though.

and BTW Zip is a really cool compressor.

I demoed Lion a while ago and I can understand the arguments against Unfiltererd Audio plugins. I have Indent, Indent 2 and Sandman and almost never use them. Everything you throw it on turns into a grainy distorted mess most or the times. Probably great for lo-fi, edgy and distorted types of music and sounddesign but for producing Hip-Hop for example the sounds these plugins produce often feel displaced.

On the other hand, I really welcome developers who create totally way out tools with all sorts of crazy routing and modulation capabilities to just fool around and experiment with. One day for example I found myseld playing around with Sandman for about 20 minutes because it was creating a soundscape from a single hi hat shot I send into it. :D We need these moments so surprise ourselves sometime.
