Hello gentleman,

I am unable to delete padshop pro from my computer.
It tells me i need admin rights wich i have..
I cant find it in config>apps either to delete if via that option aswell
The funny thing is sometimes it tells me i need admin rights when i try to delete it and the other time it tells me it cant delete the program because it is used by some other program, wich i find weird because i have every program closed that would be able to use it, like ableton etc...

The padshopo pro version i have is by VR, by the way

The reason why i try to delete it in the first place is because i recently got an Komplete kontrol mk2 and whenever i use the komplete kontrol software to scan apps to be able to use the Keyboard to load apps it says that Padshop pro is corrupt of some sorts

If any of you have an idea to solve this problem i would love to hear from you because i have no idea what to do, and im unable to use the komplete kontrol mk2 for this reason

So what is basically happening is that while komplete kontrol standalone is scanning the vsts i have on my pc it keeps hanging while its scanning for PADshop
Edit: the message i get is: No valid license detected for padshop
Please connect your elicenser and click retry
Click cancel to stop loading the plugin.
Make sure to have an up to date version of the License Control center

It is possible that one of these programs is accessing it and denying you access.


Activation Manager Unlocker
Steinberg Library Manager
Steinberg MediaBay

It's just a guess. I haven't installed it


PS:

If nothing works, I have always used this tool https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/unlocker_portable.html
but to be used with caution

He brother after restarting my pc i was able to delete the map Padshop
thanks for you response, i will try the rescanning process with the komplete kontrol software tomorrow.

P.s none of the processes you mentioned where active before i restarted my pc

 

I hope it's all working smoothly now, however if not you should search for :-

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Padshop_64\unins000.exe

 

Thank brother that map was still on my drive so thanks for heading me in that direction really appreciated.
Got the komplete kontrol working now !
