Unable to control plugins in Cubase 8

    hi guys. I'm on Cubase 8 Elements, Focusrite 6i6 and Studiologic SL88 Grand. I'm trying to control the Wah pedal inside Amplitube 4 from an expression pedal (M-Audio EX-P, into 2nd pedal slot of SL88) but I can't. Nor via LEARN MIDI, nor via setting the GLOBAL MIDI CC# (down left of amplitube). The fact is, that in standalone everything is okay. In cubase, I can't. Both with Instrument Track and with Rack Instrument. I can play whatever plugin (Vb3, Lounge Lizard, etc) and I can control a parameter inside this plugin (e.g. the Pedal Control of VB3) but I can't control Amplitube (the problem is there with Guitar Rig 5 too).
