Hi, Guys and Girls (too few of them here )


I want to ask what's the best Setup for Street music

Maybe It's time to share some music with the world

I was thinking about the perfect small and cheap setup (but with maximum versatile )
A 300 € Laptop (Ryzen 4300H with a 256 GB SSD)
an IK Multimedia iRig Keys I/O 25 with build in Audiointerface (bought it just for free Sampletank, so this can be useful )
Some Batteries Speakers (still no plan what to buy here )
And some Batterie packs
(other ideas are welcome )

and there is the problem with limited drive space
Problem how to optimize Software

Stuff like Omnisphear and Kontakt are off
Also stupid multiple same function VST´s (no need for 10 reverbs)

So the question is what are the smallest (in HDDs space) but most versatile Programs

(For me Zebra 2, MXXX ,Helix 3.0, (Byom), Reaper are in my mind right now)

 

I you are open to software/DAW, check the developer RENOISE. Their DAW has a different approach similar to Ableton but, with many features that Ableton users wish they had. System requirements are listed in the download page.

The on-line manual is well laid out allowing for quick location of info. Their videos also seem to be very well done.

There is an earlier 3.2 version on the sister site if you want to try it without the demo limitations.
