    That makes sense. But if you delete your iLok app it won't work or will do blurry GUI. Deleting UA Connect does not mean someone's goal of deleting iLok is possible. Mine was just to use it without UA Connect.

    Well, first of all, I think you quoted the wrong post. I didn't say anything about iLok or internet connection. I talked about SymLink.

    But yes, you can use these plugins without a continuous internet connection. The licensing is machine-based, not cloud-based.
    But you still need iLok. And you need UA Connect to download and install these plugins. There is no offline installer afaik.

    I tried to hack that using an offline iLok and it wouldn't work. As you said, you have to install from UAConnect.

    Cheers for the heads up. I wonder if they might find out which accounts are genuine and deauthorise at any point?
