    They have great hardware emulations plugins, but they are lacking in basic fx plugins. For example, simple parametric EQ, compressor without coloration, etc. That's why Luna is not a good DAW yet. Also, they started creating their DAW around their audio interfaces, which was a big mistake.

    This is not a mistake, this is a cold calculation.
    Luna helps to sell hardware.
    They do not hope to make the best DAW, too much work and great competition.
    They have already done all the best for the LUNA - emulators of consoles, tape recorders and full railway carriage of compressors. )

    Exactly, holy words. The problem for UA was that the "Luna model" turned out to be very weak, and that their hardware is no longer selling. Also because, in 2023, this business model is extremely bankrupt in the long term. UA native is the only way to stay alive in the audio market today and in the future, at least by capitalizing on their great reputation in the industry. Otherwise they too would have fallen in a few years.
