Linux version will hopefully arrive soon, it needs a few more fixes first.

Besides a big round of bug fixes, improvements and some small but useful feature additions, Uhbik-A got a new reverb model, and Uhbik-Q has a (mostly) working spectrum view now. We are very curious to hear what you think about all those new and improved features.

Known Issues & notes:

This version will update your previous Uhbik installation.
Your serial remains valid, and Uhbik 2.0 is fully backwards compatible.

Please note that this is still an ALPHA version. Lots of things are still subject to change. So please don't use this version for important projects, and don't expect projects made with this alpha to stay fully compatible to the official 2.0 release version.

If you experience sound issues (mainly when using the VST3 version), set Uhbik's channel configuration from auto/surround to stereo 1/2 (right-click in the main display at the top).

In order to use MIDI signals, you might have to consult your host's documentation about how to route MIDI to effect plugins. This varies from host to host.

Since Uhbik-Q's master gain range has been fixed (was only 12dB, should have been 24dB), old projects automating this parameter will need an adjustment of the automation curve.
And if you have very old presets, those might need to be adjusted as well, since automatic compensation will only work for presets made with recent versions of Uhbik (e.g. v1.3, rev. 3898).

Note that the new reverb model in Uhbik-A isn't "polished" yet, so some parameters might sound glitchy while you turn them. Parameter smoothing will be implemented at a later point.

What a clumsy interface for an EQ!

 

Really enjoyed the previous 1.3.1 version. The new GUI and layouts so far work as expected.
Used the EQ & comp for a lead vocal track with the delay & reverb on a bus.

 

Well, it does look like it'll have some interesting features. On the right it looks like some kind of envelope follower for pre-recorded audio.
Maybe the bulky interface is justified.

 

Its more of a creative effect than a plain EQ, hence the design, but this is a year old alpha.... I expect many changes before it even hits beta.

 

It's so cool that this upgrade is free for existing license owners, they really do take great care of their customers.
