    u-heeeeee!:)
    I bought Diva.
On my PC (win7), I've been using an old version of Diva 1.2.0 R2R.
Throughout the years, I added some third-party soundsets and marked many presets as favourite and junk.

Can you tell me how to properly uninstall the cracked R2R Diva and install a legit Diva?

I'd like to preserve my favourite and junk preset marking - how to do it?

I store Diva trird-party soundsets is this location:
    C:\Users\x\Documents\u-he\Diva\Presets\Diva\

P.S. Should I expect some noticeable change of the sound of some presets made on the old Diva 1.2.0 when I'll open them with the new legit Diva?

A few years ago Urs made some changes to some Diva's waveforms? Do I remember correctly?

    Cheers!

First, well done for going legit. :)

Second, you want to go to the u-he forum on KVR.

    http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=31&sid=8f5fb78daa10c670df066e884606e6b0

Its the official u-he forum and there's lots of useful threads there.

There is a new beta version of diva which comes with an all-new preset browser. This new browser changes a lot of things so you will need to backup your presets.

There is a thread all about the new preset browser and another about the new beta of Diva.

I would suggest that you read both of these before you install the latest Diva.

Have fun and enjoy your new toy. :)

Use REVO Uninstaller if you want to make sure not to leave behind any entries in your registry... Be careful not to accidentally delete other registry items which could affect other installed programs...

  9. I generally use Revo Uninstaller because besides the regular uninstallation it reveals collateral folders and data that you might like to be rid of in directories. You should copy and move to a different location any presets that you wish to keep, but you also can untick the folder(s) that you wish not erraticated.

The presets are just plain files. Copy them around to your liking.

I'd just remove the authorisation file in u-he/Diva ProgramData folder and install the 1.4.2 version, register it with your legit serial and that's it. It will preserve all your settings this way. No need to uninstall anything, really.

I'd wait with this beta for a while [a year?] because they are introducing more complex changes to it and it could take a while until Diva becomes as stable as it is now. Just install v1.4.2 and enjoy!

Good move, mate. u-he is one of the greatest soft-synth and VST in general developer ever IMHO. Diva, Repro, Bazille and ZebraHZ are some serious game-changers, I think. First really serious, great sounding soft-synths IMO. His Uhbik bundle, MFM, Presswerk and Satin are also some of the greatest plugins one can buy.

    Cheers!

    Thanks!
Regarding the latest stable version of Diva, at u-he.com there's only v1.4.1 available.
You downloaded v1.4.2 from u-he KVR forum? is the v1.4.2 100% stable?

Do you know where is stored the rating of diva presets? (the info about which presets I marked as favourite/junk)
