RePro-5

We are pleased to start the public beta for Repro-5. Repro-5 shares a lot of sonic DNA with Repro-1, but draws inspiration from an even more iconic vintage synthesizer. You will find the familiar rough and raw sounds of Repro-1, but with a few differences, new flavours and characteristics. Most notably, of course, is polyphony. Besides the introduction of Repro-5, the public beta also includes various improvements and fixes for the Repro-1 synth.

• 1 to 8 voice unison with glide control
• Audio-rate voice modulation: oscillator FM (frequency and pulse width), filter FM
• 4-pole resonant lowpass filter
• Flexible modulation options plus 2-slot matrix
• Polyphonic distortion unit with 4 types including bit crusher
• 5 effects: tape emulation, delay/chorus, EQ/resonator, reverb, sonic conditioner/dynamics processor
• Over 950 factory presets

A few more quirks need to be fixed but overall so far it's nice to play with

 

Sounds way better than the Arturia version... IMHO. Nice free upgrade for Repro 1 users. If you havent tried it yet, do so, but dont expect it to be light on your cpu.

 

Repro-5 is ready

Today (2017-12-15) we are excited to release Repro-5, a polyphonic companion to Repro-1. While Repro-5 shares a lot of sonic DNA with Repro-1, there are lots of new and unique flavours to explore.
