Is there a somewhat rule for page file on Windows 7 64bit... on net there is a story "it's not 1.5x ram like on x32" ?????
I also set preload time to 2sec instead of 4sec, and then I get messsages of hdd up to 20% and then back to 2%, never to 100% like before.

After all this crap and spend time, Magix corp. can freely contact me it they have some problems with performance

I also found one intresting thing to tweak in W7.
It's a hybernate page file (c:\hyberfil.sys). If you disable hybernation like we do page file still exist on HDD and my was around 6Gb, it's hidden like pagefile.sys.
How to remove ?
Go to cmd (as admin) and just type:

powercfg –h off

And voila! You get an extra 6Gb of space on primary drive

I pimp my graphic too... Now it's ATI HD 6670, great vga card and I finaly move ms scoore to highest rate, until now index was a 3.5 because of graphic card... now it's 5.9 just because of HDD

Ok, side by side I run the same project (with same plugs):

* Sequoia
* Studio One
* Reaper
* Pro Tools 10

and I get the same results, CPU around 7% HDD around 15-20%, that's all my computer can give me and it's ok now...

Independence/Engine2 setup against sound freezing



The main param is preload time, if I set to extensive I never get sound freezing from time to time.

Magix has disease about pre-load, after-load etc...
