    Hi All,
just wondering if anyone can help with the following.
I am trying to turn off SIP on my Mac Mini m4.
I'm using a 4tb external WD 850 SX SSD in a uGreen thunderbolt enclosure to get 4tb storage at a blazingly fast transfer rate.
I have installed Mac OS onto that external drive.
I am entering Recovery mode to use 'csrutil disable' to turn off SIP.
Everything goes fine until I am asked to enter my password, which I do and then the computer does not accept that password. The password is correct. I think it has something to do with the fact that I am using an external drive to boot off of.

Has anyone got an idea as to what can be done to resolve this issue?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards
    A J
