Can you turn off this blurry animation in Bitwig 5.2 -- I just want a clean white line...

 

I have to say until I saw your post I never really noticed it, but I have just looked 5.2.4 and yeah it's now so obviously there and always has been.

Althought my theme is stock, how did you change yours? its looks so good.

 

All the stuff on yt I watch doesn't have this annoying blur following playhead...

For the themes - https://github.com/Berikai/awesome-bitwig-themes - It's a bit of hassle to install them but there they are.

It's a matter of scale I think, the more zoomed in you are, the bigger the tracer.

So I have just looked at mine again and as @treiggerflipper said if you are zoomed out I dont see the blurry trail just a solid white line but the further I zoom in the wider the blurr trail gets.

 

Yup! That did it. As for the Theme, I'm on Dark Mellow.

Since I got Cubase, I ditched Ableton completely...too bloated and got Bitwig instead to supplement Cubase.

I was using Studio One then kept seeing Bitwig gave it a 30-day trial and on day 3 I purchased it. It's a great DAW.

I have never been able to get on with Ableton, I watched so many videos on it yet when I came to do the same things it just wasn't working for me, it was definitely a me issue, but now I just use in order Bitwig, Studio One, Cubase. I also purchased FL Studio but have never given it the time to learn it, but always liked what I used and how it looks.

 

I couldnt find the theme from the main page but have just found v1.6
