Most of my guitars are tuned normally, mostly because of a vibrato on them. The Dobro is DADGAD and the Telecaster is a 5-string Keith Richards Tuning. These 3 different tunings alone confuse me to oblivion. :)

I recorded a song in 2007 and decided to play it live a few years back and couldn't figure my own tuning out. It was a spur of the moment thing. We eventually did get it but I've forgotten again.

It's does have that Luther Perkins chime though I think he was a F standard rather than F#, but it has better chime with the higher tension. It's got that tight bass note rather than drone. Sounds more like Shenandoah than Tennessee or Arkansas though, better watch out your roots are showing.

Now, you just need lyrics about trucks, truck parts, cut-off jeans, drinking beer and whiskey, cheater's remorse, tractors, parents, shooting and man stuff and you have yourself a modern country top tenner.

That was in FACGCE tuning, not standard tuned up to F#.

I think it might have been D A E F# A E. Because a chord in the song was that, open.

Well that's what happens when I don't read the stuff in between where I left off and where I landed on a day.

Still, I like your sound and patterns, it brings back some memories even if some of them are a little sad of places I left a long time ago. Good on you.
