As the title says really...


Is there a trusted online file checker as I have a file that win 10 keeps deleting as infected or potentially unwanted but my bit defender says its fine and it came from AW so it should be ok.

I just need to make sure?

only problem is the size limit which was near 300mb last time I checked

 

Thats cool as the file I need to check is only 2.4mb.

if you have experience with Windows and are not a newbie:

inside are Kaspersky + ESET Virus scanners (+ a lot of other solutions)
it runs like Portable Programs and updates everytime used to latest version.
I have no background Virusscanner too , we all know , why.

 

Run f secure is good also different antivirus like avast. But do not forget about using VeePN which also good for protecting data during internet surfing

virustotal.com is pretty safe and trustworthy. However Virustotal features some weird or unconventional AntiVirus engines for whatever reasons. One of which is Jiangmin. It's a proprietary Chinese AV and it's so bad that the people who it was developed for, the Chinese enterprise businesses, don't even like it. It throws an insane amount of false positives.

So, yeah, in case you get a virus alert from a bunch of AV engines that no one knows about, don't sweat about it.
