I composed such a song, it supposed to be orchestral but I screwed up.

 

Love it because it is not the everyday average, it's way, way more than that. Fantastic melody and the orchestration is superb as well as your sense of space and time. One of the most enjoyable pieces I have listened to from this hallowed hall! I want to listen to it again and again.

Let me give my own view to music, not necessarily yours:
A powerful music has 2 quite distinctive characteristics beside other ones. First one is the composition and second one is the arrangement. Both of them need deep experimentations and testing different ideas maybe not available in books. Some people make music without really mulling over them carefully. Creating a successful musical space without them is impossible.
