if you are not going to switch to an interface with external hardware based dsp, an interface is not going to change much, if anything. If you are running that Focusrite software on a Mac, it is not great. But if it is already working for you in other DAWs, it's not your problem either. I've never heard of a specific DAW have an issue with a interface driver that does not show up in other DAW. That is because this is all handled by Apple Core Audio on a Mac, or by the driver communicating with Windows.

Studio One is basically Cubase, for purposes of this kind of topic. If you are having a latency issue recording vocals in one of them; the answer is really simple. Don't track vocals in that DAW. If you want to put up with some bloat for extra features, use them to produce and mix. Track in another DAW you do not have a latency problem in. Logic, REAPER, Protools, or whatever you find works fine with your setup.

Bounce your mix to wave, load it into the "tracking DAW"; and track the vocals. Bring the files back into your DAW with your real session project.
    Mix in Studio One.

No vocalist (who you are dealing with) is ever going to tell you to change your mix by anything more than what they are hearing. Gain and EQ, if even that much. Even if they were to want you to do something drastic, stick Acon Digital Remix and Acon Remix Drums on the track with your mixed down file. You aren't going to render that again anyway. Lift the vocal into the other DAW and you are done. They will not care. Most "vocalists" you are recording are only one step removed from a karaoke bar anyway.

The DAWS in some cases are becoming like pop music now, instead of tailoring towards engineers, they are tailoring to the masses.

If people look at music history, the FUNNY part until now, is studios never had anything to do with radio stations unless they were affiliated or owned by a radio station which was not the majority. They were affiliated with record labels, were independents, or owned by name musicians because most people could not afford well over $100,000 to set up a studio. The dollar wage was WAY less until now.

NOW - everyone can afford it, get a free version of Reaper and people record their own music. The radio stations while still on the airwaves, are mostly on The Internet and people tailor more towards the streaming faves and 'look at me' crowd.

DAWs and STUDIOS used to be dedicated towards recording and engineers. Now it has incorporated so many popular trends, and tailored towards people who are bedroom musicians and teenagers, the entire area is very grey. People these days want something for nothing and do not get they are receiving next to nothing for something.

I appreciate the tips! But don't you think, you shouldn't use those harsh words. (quoted above) I want to maintain my privacy otherwise I would've shown you the work that I did so far in 7 years. Currently I'm 24, I started when I was 16 while I was in school. When I was 19, I worked on a mixing project for a big label which was 7th most subscribed. It's Zee Music Company. It was a ballad type of song.

Also I worked with rappers who got like few million views on their social media combined. Few of them where signed. Also many of the beats I produced for rappers was later bought by a company which a rapper auditioned.

Did all the savings possible. Didn't even spent on new clothes for a year.

Now, I am transitioning from working for people to working for myself aiming to become an artist myself.

I really don't want to leak my privacy, otherwise I would've shared my work. It's your decision to believe it or not but God knows what's up.

    Thank you!

Once again : if you HEAR latency, it is more than 30ms
So the soundcard, even at 64 samples, is NOT the culprit.

It is your audio chain (plugins, not set to ASIO, wrong DAW setting ...).

Ok i'm out now ... good luck
