The really weird part is I had totally forgotten about it, until I re-scanned my vsts recently, which resulted in a message the 'enzyme' needed re-installing. My memory is shot it seems, because as I recall I had it working... but when I went to look I have no original installer... nothing.

Weird. Maybe I only ever had the demo, and nuked it in frustration but the vst was still hanging around in plugins folder.

 

If you have information about a working release, please send it to me too thanks!

 

Well I have to give up my search for a full working version of Enzyme... I've exhausted all avenues pretty much... all versions I can find are the demo installer, which will only ever run in demo mode, regardless of any 'enzymekey' file included.

He did indeed... past tense. This was back when there was a platinum ears website... before he turned into a disembodied waveform on youtube! As one would expect from Mr. Worrall, they are very good and very useful

I have to admit, I don't have a very good knowledge of 95% of what's in this collection! It was given to me by a friend at a time when I didn't really use VSTs or computers for music much. Many years later, I found it on an old HD and thought I'd post about it here, for those who remember this stuff first-hand. Since then, I've developed an interest in certain 'abandonware' VSTs that are particularly interesting/useful, so have continued to add to the collection.

I'm guessing it's probably a fore-runner of the modern-day Akai MPC VST.

[EDIT} I just noticed I made a note about having had trouble getting it to receive MIDI... so I must have tried it! Probably why I ended up with Akai MPC VST... which I never really got into either.
If I recall, that particular rabbit hole ended with me discovering ImageLine Groove Machine, which is what I was looking for... a kind of poor man's Oktatrack in virtual form! Another piece of 'abandonware' it seems, which I have now added to the list (and the archive).

Folks, first of all, thanks to everybody that provided me with the impOSCar release.

I am now after Ableton Live v.9.7.7 x64.

The last x64 R*R release was v9.7.5. There is a v.9.7.7 out there, but sadly it is x86 only.

Why do you think the x64 version exists? The notes from R2R say it is the last x86 release of Ableton Live. An x64 version was not archived. Maybe they made this separately for that reason.

 

Because upon launch, the x64 version tries to update to a newer version of 9.

Like he mentioned, there are both versions of 9.7.5, even for Mac. We no longer have UPAWG to check if something was nuked. On two sites that never take down anything, it is not there.

Yeah, so I downloaded v9.7.7 and have the R2R keygen. All I need is the patch. Does anyone know if the older Ableton Live Patcher from the sistersite works with Live 9? Thanks.

@ElecTribe I have been wanting AKAI Virtual Sampler for years. The legwork I did led me to believe it appeared at NAMM show one year only, and never was never released. Any chance I could get that from you? Thank you.

Err... I am thinking of this VZ8 thing. I don't know if they're the same or not. I'd like to get that from you just the same if possible.
