Hi!

I've just installed on my macbook pro M1 :
- Trilian
- Library Trilian

But I have a weird problem and can't solve it. All is working fine in ableton when my Steam folder (patched and with all the library) are into my Macintosh HD / Users / Your Username / Library / Application Support / Spectrasonics

But when I want to move the STEAM folder into my external SSD, create a Alias and move into the /applicationsupport/spectronics/ my trilian don't work anymore and I have this error : cannot load Multi data because it is corrupted.

So when I move back the original STEAM folder into my system storage, I can use normally Trilian.

Anyone knows why I can use the Library only when my STEAM folder is on my system hard drive and not on my external SSD?

I've already try to change the permission of the shortcut but the shortcut is already on on "read & write".

You don't move /applicationsupport/spectronics/ to an external drive.
Just the Steam folder.
Then make the proper 2 key option/command alias to /Users/ApplicationSupport/Spectrasonics

 

Alias will not work! Move the Steam folder like you said but without creating symbolic link. Open the software and it will ask you to point to the folder, done!

 

Thanks for your answer, as I said, I creaded only an alias of "STEAM" folder (located on my EXTERNAL) and move this alias into my /applicationsupport/spectronics/"here" . But this way doesn't work...

Ok so apparently Alias doesn't work... But, when I delete steam folde from /Users/ApplicationSupport/Spectrasonics and relaunch Trilian I got this error :

Cannot load multi data because it is corrupted (either from song or from multi file"). Try loading another multi from multi browser.

After this error, it seems that Trilian create a new STEAM folder but It doesn't ask me to locate the right STEAM folder...

run trilian standalone app, then you can setup steam folder location.
