Something I really like is space-out myself with this sort of Miles Davis.
In the past I´ve listen things from him that I cannot track.
Actually I often listened to this track while travelling on the train.
Listening what I guess was the Alternative Press re-release from 2000´s, slightly different.
In fact ppl tend to perceive this music as not danceable, I think is not really correct because this is very danceable
    Deep drug!

Do you know more of his works in this concrete mood, with the addition of non conventional instruments for the genre ?
Or electronic music featuring such feeling and time?

Andrew Poppy ‎– What a weird artist (his take...is like a bit Peter Greenaway -the filmaker-)
I suppose I mention that, coss Greenaway has been so fond on minimalism and the early Poppy works started there and shifted somewhere very personal

There, pure afternoon if you like!

It's almost music for whirling. Like Dervishes. Not sure he ever made another track quite like it. I wish he had. 'Ife' (from Big Fun) is a bit similar but, like most of the electric Miles, more stewed. He Loved Him Madly to my ears points back to the much earlier Miles of Sketches of Spain.

Great choices for your music. I meant to post some Durutti Column, as well.

@Feridan: I´ve got the full album ...great! :break:

Is it music useful for dancing ?

Lala Human Steps is Québécois contemporary dance group in Canada for those who like dancing and dance. Something I enjoy :dancing:

The troupe has collaborated with rock musicians, including David Bowie, David Lang, Frank Zappa, Skinny Puppy, Einstürzende Neubauten, Kevin Shields, and Carole Laure.

The problem with a beach is the same you have with a forum. You need to let other people onto it.

He's saying that people tend to ruin things and I couldn't agree more. We have some people on these forums that have trouble with acting like adults, never mind all the idiots in the real world. Here the downside is that people hide behind anonymity...like cowards.

Yes, agreed but at the same time without the others life is sad!
I´m people, taking space, consuming...I don´t feel different.
This culture defines me, dresses me, addresses me.
I don´t believe that is very accurate to trace a border btw ppl and the self.
The self with its values is defined by the relation with the others and the others are perceived from the self but within the cultural values.
    :mates:

We are one but because of the billions!

That is true and eloquently worded as usual but believe it or not I am very introverted, antisocial and I reject all things related to the masses. KMFDM (Kein Mehrheit Für Die Mitleid) = no pity for the majority. *no*

I'm sure this is unhealthy as human beings are social creatures but I just can't stand most people. And no you are not people, you have a focus, you take an interest, you are unique amidst this sea of complacency and mediocrity. We are one because we reject the mainstream not because we are adopted by it. It was this line that formed the foundation of Industrial itself.

    frito
    My sentiments exactly.

Look Catalyst everyday I feel more close to yah!
I didn´t want to confess my antisocial and introverted point, but at the same time I have to deal with the reality, even if I don´t like it.
It´s an imposition whether I take it or not it surpasses me.
So my medicine, creativity. ...Waiting for art as a way of subliminate!

    Here word-games: Subliminate or Submit

    Autechre: Sublimit
