Listen to the organ on this:

    Horsepower Productions - Django's Revenge
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0DCySx1Aj0

Was he listening to Hanging Gardens? Must be the same DX7 preset (Chris Abrahams uses a DX7 for his synth sounds).

The Necks also invented Dubstep. The Necks invented everything.

Interesting aspect of how they became famous. It was mostly through word of mouth. There was no advertising or anything. The Necks just started as a bit of a fun project in improving music between them.

I know him; he was a neighbor time ago.
I lived in a part of the city where some experimental music was going on.No idea what goes on there!
I had all his solstice (his label) works but unfortunately all is lost on moves.
He has two faces kind of nice composer surrounded by musicians in a classical intake. And on the other side he just performs noise, a thick and devastating wall of it.
I would like to bring the music that impacted me the most, the one was creating a borderline experience … but I can even find a working link with it.

One of the strongest -raw material- Aussie movies I´ve watched is Snowtown.
Sordid but the fact actors weren´t professional makes it even harder.
    Strong drinking

That one's a keeper. It was from the Kreisel 99 series on the Cologne Kompakt label. The idea behind it was to put out one release a week for 52 weeks (1999-2000). You can find them all listed here:
    Code:
    http://www.discogs.com/label/Kreisel+99
Kompakt's back catalog is a good source for discovering interesting music.

No, wrong. Kreisel 99 was another sub label of Kompakt. So it's on Kreisel 99 not Kompakt.

Before the Grungerman Kreisel 99 Fackeln release there was another one, a 12" on Profan (which became part of Kompakt as well), and from that is this classic:

Sorry I've been so busy that I haven't had the time to post here but I've got lots of exciting things planned for the forums. I hope nobody minds if I just slide us into Friday with these next few numbers that I'm sure will get you all grooving in no time (if you're human that is):

I got a letter from the government the other day
Opened it and read it, it said they were suckers
They wanted me for their army or whatever
Picture me givin' a damn, I said, never

Here is a land that never gave a damn
About a brother like myself because I never did
I wasn't with it but just that very minute
It occurred to me, the suckers had authority

Cold sweatin' as I dwell in my cell
How long has it been? They got me sittin' in the state pen
I gotta get out, but that thought was thought before
I contemplated a plan on the cell floor

I'm not a fugitive on the run
But a brother like me, begin to be another one
Public enemy servin' time, they drew the line y'all
They criticize me for some crime

    I got a letter, I got a letter, I got a letter
Picture me givin' a damn, I said, never
    Mmm, mmm, mmm
It occurred to me, the suckers had authority

Cold sweatin' as I dwell in my cell
How long has it been? They got me sittin' in the state pen
I gotta get out, but that thought was thought before

I'm not a fugitive on the run
I'm not a fugitive on the run

Many switch in, switch on, switch off
Many switch in, switch on, switch off
Many switch in, switch on, switch off
Many switch in, switch on, switch off
Many switch in, switch on, switch off

    Nevertheless they could not understand
I am a black man and I could never be a veteran
On the strength of situations, I'm real
I got a raw deal, so I'm lookin' for the steel, looking for the steel

I got a letter from the government the other day

Perfect example of talented electronic musicians/composers. I love this song:

    Find a new cause
    Find a new love
    Find a new home

That last track is Andy Duguid's Remix of Bright Morningstar. They even used the same image for the video that I used for the Industrial thread but in a ridiculous context.

Is there any other kind when you're dealing with the government?

I'm glad you're enjoying my picks Rolma. The image is from the user that uploaded the song not Tiesto and it's a common image on the web that was created for one of the Alone In The Dark games. Also the original song is by Tiesto but this remix is Andy Duguid's. I like your idea for that zombie track and would be really interested in hearing it when you're done. When I have time I will also give you some feedback on your rework of Cold Weather.

He's a he. It's Thomas Brinkmann. He calls himself Ester after his sister. Ester is the more experimental branch of his work.

His early work is very interesting. He's published two LPs as Ester, 'Totes Rennen' and 'Weisse Nächte' .

He's also reworked Richie Hawtin for the 'Concept 1 - 96:VR' album.

Yes, he is too private, he has been more a performance man.
I lost the contact anyways but back in time he was performing world wide.
A nice mental reference for me in the begining of 2000´s

It´s what I felt when i listened to it a kind of texture present in Hawtin
That was the element attracted me
But It could be woman ...I don´t know why women aren´t that common in Electronic music ...programming ...not singing

HAVE A NICE WEEKEND (my traditional good wish for all you )
I hope everything would be sorted out (boys  )

Well the government could reward you for being an essential- invaluable citizen ! A recognition letter
(I imagine governments tend to be more coercive than approving )
I think my Cold Weather (rework ) has failed …You know that´s the thing . I take it as mere sport : )

Catalyst enjoy creating a lot (very nice nick)
