I´m running on win 7 / 64 bit and i'm constantly having issues with the setup of the latest cracked UNION release of Traktor, ( I tried the previous, and a few other releases as well
I run the setup as administrator... i´ve tried the compatibility modes ( just though they could help haha ) with no avail.
When i tried installing it on Safe mode it starts installing and it immidiately skips to the last screen and says; Setup .... FALSE... which is pretty difficult to understand

When ever i try to run the setup normally it says during the installation: Error getting file security: <the install location> GetLastError:5

I've got no other idea where to turn to with this problem.

 

I think a file is missing with your installation. #1 check your firewall, just in case. #2 check to see see if there is another version, such as ASSiGN. If that doesn't work idk. Im running same as you, but the UNION worked for me.

no i had it too, but win7 32 bit os on it will work.

 

I knew it wasn´t the release or anything, it had to be my Windows.

So i figured it out, i couldn´t get full administrative rights.. no matter what i did. So this is what fixed it:

Ran Cmd as administrator and wrote:
takeown /f C:\ /r /a

And it worked, it installed it fine.
