Hi guys! I would like to ask you for advice - I bought myself Superior drummer 3, so it´s official. I installed it, everything working great and then I tried to open other libraries, which I own not so officially. Guys on audioz wrote, that all the EZX libraries are working great, but I have a trouble with the newer ones, those EZX2. EZX ones are working great. EZX2 wants an upgrade.
Do somebody of you know what to do? Many thanks.

 

I saw a couple of updates posted recently for EZX banks (and others), that's probably what you need to get them to work in SD3

 

Yes, you´re right, but that was for libraries that are working for me, but I need to make work those from EZdrummer 2, like "Made of metal", "Post-rock" and "Progressive".

 

I didnt have time to take a closer look at it but I have a feeling it's the same kind of problem. There's a new GUI (sort of) and that's likely to have triggered a few compatibility issues. I'll try to see if I can find something...

I think you have to wait for the updated sister's releases.

 

I have the same issue, legal SD3, and not so legal ezx 2's.
Older ezx's work fine, the ezx 2's need a graphics update, so we have to wait for a not so legal SD3...
I presume you are on a mac too?

 

"Additionally, they have all been updated with new graphics for the Superior Drummer 3 format. After Superior Drummer 3 has been launched, you will find relevant updates in the Toontrack Product Manager." just found that on their website, so I guess we need to wait for a little while

 

Odd, because my 'unofficial' SD3 runs all my 'unofficial' EZX2 kits just fine. This is on a PC, mind, can't say about Mac.

 

Mac SD3 is not "unofficial" yet, as far as I know.

 

And that´s why I am asking, because I did read in some discussions, that on some computers it´s working. I am on WIN.

-Custom & Vintage SDK
-Joe Baresi Evil Drums
-New York Allaire
-New York part 3
-Roots & Sticks

All EZDrummer extensions work right. Under PC

 

I am also in this situation. Official SD3 on Mac with EZX2 that are not recognised.

Is there any new developments ?

 

my older extensions all load the sounds fine, however there are no graphics and the "update..." message. You can however use the "view->scaling" command, then the graphics are visbile again. My problem is that I have no sound with the included SD3 library ;) got it as 2-part torrent, the library was copied by hand....
