I have not had a problem with anything in that version of sd3. Although, like Dave_Music, I don't have that particular expansion so I can't say for sure on that.

I'd say buy it and test it, if it doesn't work get a refund. Not sure how toontracks refund policy is though so that might be a major headache.

    Hey ThrashHead,
Are any of the bought SDXs that you purchased that have worked on the latest VR SD3 been ones that have come out since SD3 has been released? Did you have to install and authorize automatically through Product Manager or where you able to just download the library and installer from Toontrack and then install yourself?
    Thanks,
    Jenin

All the bought SDX versions after SD3 launch will work if you have installed the latest version of SD3 (3.1.4) from SiterSite.
You don't need to use the Product manager at all. It's only for convenience atm.
You can install all SDX and MIDI libs as they contain an offline installer.
(you can even install them "by hand" by just Xcopying but that's another story. It makes reinstalling SD3 extremely quick and easy)

    have fun :)

you don't even need to use the installer, just copy past into the specified folder and it will work.

You are right but I thought it may confuse more than it helps. At least you need to install the Lib and the Midi data to different locations as you'll know.
And I try to keep my posts shorter lately

    Hi Jenin,
I see people already beat me to the answers :)
But I second what was said. I have the offline installers and install from them (the Product Manager is more for offical downloads of big libraries, but only downloads the installers, which you can then use to install on another computer. I download with a online laptop and my DAW & VSTs are on a Offline Desktop PC)
I have alot of stuff from Group Buys and they all work. The only things Im looking for (if anyone has them PM me) are the Official SD3 Updates for the 2 old SD2 libraries :)
    Roots Brushes, Rods, Mallets
    and
    Music City USA
and I can be very generous to the people who provide these :)

Late to the party and I don't use SDX libraries.
I just wanted to comment, FWIW, that if you get that bitchy "MIDI files corrupted" when installing expansions, you can easily fix it restoring the following folder:

    C:\ProgramData\Toontrack\Superior Drummer 3\Database

Applies to EZDrummer2 as well. So I'd keep a backup of this folder after the latest releases: EZD2.1.6, SD3.1.4
We love you TeamVR, no matter how much R2R trolls you :D

There is another thing that seems to work if it is done enough as an observation.

Once every 1-2 months post a request on the sister site. R2R and the Russian people seem to monitor it and meet many of the requests.

Whomever said that this is not the area to post links is correct, but I do understand the frustration.

For those who haven't seen them, 'Unofficial' updates for all but one of the SD2 libraries have been available for several weeks on some well-known trackers. They work absolutely fine for me, not sure why they never made it to sister site. By 'unofficial', I mean that someone has modified existing resources (images & stuff from other SD3 libraries) for each of the SD2 libs.

Thanks for the info! Could you share the magnet or tell us the exact name so we can search for them? I've been looking on some trackers and wasn't able to find them.

    Thanks again.

I've been waiting for SD3 to have a sale, but it appears it never will.

I think you will find that nobody has done anything against the rules here. To PM a link is fine. Do you even understand the word clandestine?
