I need updates for some, as the GUI is missing, but the kits actually play, and I can use the kit pieces from them in other kits.

For the record, I do remember that the R4e version of SD2 worked with 'The Rock Warehouse' as well - with no registration (if I remember correctly.)

 

Yes - Rock Warehouse can run in a version of SD2, but we need them to work in SD3, as that's a massive improvement over SD2.
All the libraries were given a small 1.5 update file that makes them work in SD3 with the graphics and drum presets, etc.
This small update file is all we need to make them work.

I was asking people to post the small update file on the sister site (which IS a Download Site) which I sure you take a lot of stuff from yourself, but never give back. I myself have given a lot on that site (under another name, a list of which I can list should a TRUSTED Member ask me via PM. Not you obviously Mr Toontrack, as your about as trusted a government spy).
As I say, I give a lot on the sister site and make very few requests, but I apologise if my asking for a small update file offends you so much to make you shout 'STOP ASKING!!!!!!'. I didn't realise my little request was interrupting your life so much, I must be appearing on all your tv and radio channel asking for this small favour, so I can understand how it must annoy you. Sorry, thought I had only made a comment on a webpage, sorry to cause so much stress to your life
Btw, Mr Toontrack, the libraries have already been shared on the sister site. I am only asking for a small free update, so please don't sue me for asking.

you get the free updates when you have buy it within your Toontrack Account .

i´m myselves over for sharing anything , too much bad peoples in General on those sites , too many People which just make Money out of those uploads all over the Audiowarez Sites .

TinTin has chimed in with comments like this before about these update files. I don't imagine he works for toontrack either.......he just doesn't like to share because he is an arsehole.

Personally I just use SD2 and SD3 side by side. It's just the convenience of having everything in the same box that makes the upload useful. I'm not sure how you can make money with a 35Mb file but I'd say that is not your real reason. There used to be kids like you at school, I always suspected that they didn't go very far in the world.

I think the post relates to SD3 Updates, not SD2, so a bit off topic (maybe useful for MAC tho, so nice for you to help)
PC users, like me, already have them running in SD2, we would like them to work in SD3, as that is a much better program.

I am looking for them too and share loads on the Sister site, but I think it seems pointless asking, as people on here seem to rather make Negative Comments rather than help anyone.

This is why people like me will think twice before sharing anything in 2019, because hoarders wont share a free update (yes it is free Tin Tin before you say it isn't, you don't pay for the update, you pay for the library and we already have the libraries in question).

Anyways, if theres any nice people out there, who want to share a free update on the sister site, with people who share EVERYTHING THEY BOUGHT on the sister site because that is what sharing is about. We take from 'the sister' and we give back to 'the sister'.
I would list a big list of what I have supplied, but I'm starting to believe that most posts lead to abuse by people who 'hang around' all day trolling and don't either share anything or make music.

If your a troll, don't bother replying because Im neither interested in what you have to say or will be around to read what you say or reply (as I personally have more to do with my life like making music and sharing what I have with others). You will see from my history that I rarely post or am even here, mostly on the sister site and other sites, but I help people when I can. you are right the update is free for me , but i have bought the librarys thats correct too , you have the Librarys thats also true but you didnt payed for .

thats correct for me too because i have shared so many many things and gots too often fucked up by those bad peoples , one bad people are enough to fuck everything up for everyone , so say thanks to this people .

thats incorrect there are many people which use stolen cc . and they make this uploads only to make money out of those uploads , they dont do this for the community .

that could be takes very long because too many people want have and do not care from where they get this , the main thing for them are to get this for free without doing anything for . thats the truth .

It is true I do not make music with these products. At least people have told me it is not music...
I would never sell anything I did not buy... and never looking to steal for profit or to EVER CHEAT to win anything.
Yet ... I am a thief in this realm even if the only profit is mental for my obsessions ...

It is a hobby for me to collect and to learn, to satisfy .. or perhaps to feed...my curiosity,
and also compulsions for order, completeness and function. So I like to make things work when I can.
Many of my hobbies in the past were like this, to get something set up and then to sell cheap to someone.
None of downloaded stuff would I ever make money from, but i would not feel too uneasy to share back to where i got it.
Perhaps that is a conflicting ethical position, but i don't really feel it in my gut.
But, I am a mostly a taker and not a giver, except for thanks and support of clicking links ...
and to try to help in some technical ways if i feel i can... and to share a little humor (if i feel I can).

But my RC car setup, with all tools and so many organized parts and setups ...
went to some lucky kid for $100 his dad spent.
All my music equipment, although most from pawn shops (patchbays amps, compressors,EQ, mics, racks I customized, stands, cord and power supply suitcases i modded, supplies...) All tuned up, cleaned inside, labelled and color-coded, nuts tightened, a few circuit mods and re-enforcements for hard use.... That all went cheap to another guy's basement for his kids and the neighbor's kids use...
Other music stuff I've sold and/or given away, bicycles, computer stuff.. all of it I had to make as good as it could be just to see it go...

So, I have an obsession, and always been a technician of various things.
I am a collector but not a hoarder (as I let old stuff go). I have spent more time organizing, customizing and streamlining DAW stuff than ever making music, because computers are also a major hobby of mine and the most music I ever made was NON-DAW.

I have a feeling there are others with similar obsessions or tendencies who would like to complete their setups...
..without fucking anyone up like those bad peoples do, or making money or hurting feelings.
But it is not the end of the world if I never see come updates ... there are too many things in my list to test and strip down, repackage for efficient storage, organize and modify... and when i get tired, i turn off the computer and pick up my guitar ...

 

None of this nonsense would have started if TinTin had just kept his mouth shut about having these updates. Essentially he is declaring for all to hear "I own these things,but I am not going to share them" As I said before, this is what kids do at school.You can rest assured that if ever I get the above updates, that I will share them as it is win win. You get the files and I get that nice feeling inside from putting back into the community.

 

I'm not sure any real conclusions ( or safe bets) could be made from his position on this. Seems to be some resentment (justified or not) and a desire for retribution or to punish, but those are characteristics of all humans... What triggers them and how they manifest can be a little evidence towards a conclusion (or bet), but it's really hard to extrapolate from just this.. Political positions seem to have a strong genetic component, but the complexity of corrupt systems (inherent incoherence of appearance vs. effect in particular) make it difficult to extract a person's political tendency from their stand on a particular issue.
Well we are not supposed to talk politics, but my comment is really against even guessing at politics, and even more against voicing accusations (just one small "how they manifest" variant of retribution or punishment.)
I suppose I've said enough. I can see the position that even talking against political talk can be viewed as political talk and someone might have a desire for punishment or retribution and I don't want to see how that might manifest.
I don't know if I would be able to present a good argument against my own punishment....
