If your custom MIDI folders aren't appearing in the Grooves browser/editor of EZkeys 2 on macOS 15.1, follow these steps to ensure proper setup:

✅ Step 1: Verify Folder Structure
Ensure your custom MIDI files are organized correctly. Each folder should contain a midiDB file, which is essential for EZkeys to recognize and index the MIDI content. This structure is typically found in the MIDI packs provided by Toontrack. audiosex.pro+1pgmusic.com+1toontrack.com+3toontrack.com+3toontrack.com+3

✅ Step 2: Add Custom MIDI Folder to EZkeys 2
    1. Open EZkeys 2.

    2. Navigate to Menu > Browser.

    3. Right-click in the Grooves section and select Add Folder to Browser.

    4. Choose your custom MIDI folder.toontrack.com
This action should integrate your custom MIDI folder into the Grooves browser/editor. toontrack.com+1audiosex.pro+1

✅ Step 3: Rebuild MIDI Database (if necessary)
If the above steps don't resolve the issue, you might need to rebuild the MIDI database:toontrack.com

    1. Go to Settings > Libraries/Paths.

    2. Click on Rebuild MIDI Database.toontrack.com+1audiosex.pro+1
This process can take some time, especially if you have a large number of MIDI files. Be patient and allow the operation to complete. toontrack.com

✅ Step 4: Check for Software Updates
Ensure you're using the latest version of EZkeys 2, as updates often include bug fixes and performance improvements. For instance, version 2.0.2 addressed several issues related to MIDI handling. toontrack.com

✅ Step 5: Monitor Folder Activity
If you've added a large number of MIDI files, EZkeys 2 might take some time to process and display them. A red notification dot will appear next to the folder in the Grooves tab when changes are detected, indicating that a "Sync File Changes" operation is needed. toontrack.com+2toontrack.com+2toontrack.com+2

    ️ Additional Tips
    • Folder Permissions: Ensure that the folder containing your custom MIDI files has the appropriate read/write permissions.

    • File Integrity: Verify that the MIDI files are not corrupted and are compatible with EZkeys 2.

    • System Resources: Ensure your system has sufficient resources (CPU, RAM) to handle the MIDI processing, especially when dealing with large libraries.
If you continue to experience issues, please provide more details about your setup, including the exact version of EZkeys 2 and the structure of your custom MIDI folders, so I can offer more targeted assistance.
