    • 36 analog VCO waveforms featuring all classic waveforms and more
    • All VCO waveforms support pulsewidth modulation
    • Full-stereo unison mode for each VCO
    • Noise and sub-harmonic oscillators for each VCO
    • Unique VCO ring and self-modulation matrix
    • Non-linear VCF for each part with over 30 filter types, including unique multi-resonance filters

    EXTENSIVE MODULATION
    Keep your sounds moving

    • Four low-frequency oscillators (LFOs) with 30 waveforms
    • LFOs can modulate other LFOs, including themselves!
    • Three additional envelope generators, all loopable
    • Envelopes can modulate LFO modulation depth
    • Quick access to modulation depth through context popup menus
    • Majority of synth and effect parameters can be modulated
    • Virtually endless modulation possibilities

    PRO-GRADE EFFECTS
    For a polished, studio-ready sound

    • Studio quality reverb, delay, and chorus effects
    • Unique formant filter to add vocal character
    • Analog and digital distortion effects
    • Various effect parameters can be modulated with LFOs and envelopes
    • Master output equalizer and peak limiter for a final touch
    • Nonlinear power supply simulation for VCA-based compression interaction between notes

    STEP SEQUENCER
    Trigger melodies instantly

    • Fully integrated, intuitive step sequencer
    • Can trigger chords and note series synced to each key-on event
    • Can run synchronously to the host or to MIDI key events
    • Smart copy/paste of note series to improve workflow
    • Smart zoom: edit fine details while keeping overview over the full sequence

    INTELLIGENT RANDOMIZER
    Explore new spaces beyond presets

    Location:
    Where the sun doesn't shine.
When I started reading I said to myself "oh no, another 2 OSC subtractive synth with not much modulation capabilities". But then I realised that this could be pretty good:
    • 4 VCO architecture: Two parts with two VCOs each
    • 36 analog VCO waveforms featuring all classic waveforms and more
    • All VCO waveforms support pulsewidth modulation
    • Full-stereo unison mode for each VCO
    • Noise and sub-harmonic oscillators for each VCO
    • Unique VCO ring and self-modulation matrix
    • Non-linear VCF for each part with over 30 filter types, including unique multi-resonance filters
Seems very well thought out. Still, I have to play with it for a couple of hours to build an opinion about it. Thanks for the heads up. Toneboosters is a quality brand, but I haven't expected a TB synth! Very interesting.

I like it's sound and features but not the User Experience. It has cluttered GUI and vertical tabs. Drag and drop modulation and MSEGs are also missing.

    New update v1.0.3 is out:

    • Completely redesigned UI on desktop (Windows, macOS) to facilitate easier workflows
    • ASIO soundcard support in Windows standalone
    • 3 brand new VCO synthesis engines modelled after famous vintage synths, allowing each individual VCO to use an ideal, enhanced, or one of two vintage oscillation engines!
    • Improved sound quality of the analog-modelled VCOs and even faster envelopes than ever before
    • Modulation popup menu now requires a long tap or right mouse click to bring up; double tap to reset a slider to its default setting
    • New option to apply subtle VCO and VCF frequency randomization for each key on event for even more authentic analog synth simulation
    • New option to drag and drop programs onto category or library filter to quickly change these entries without typing
    • New option to delete a set of programs with a single button
    • New option to rename libraries and categories
    • New option to pin modulation popup window for easier multi-source modulation editing
    • Auto capitalisation for library, category, and program names
    • Improved robustness for exported programs across operating systems and file systems
    • New presets; currently close to 400 factory presets with more available in the public domain
    • New 5 and 10 voice polyphony play modes to reduce maximum complexity while playing
    • Fixed an issue that could cause empty library or category names in the program manager
    • New option to mute each individual VCO output to use a VCO for cross modulation only
    • New option to pin modulation popup menus to improve modulation editing workflow
    • Efficiency and stability improvements

    New UI looks great.
    New VCO's always welcome.
    Plenty of workflow improvements.

While not revolutionary, Synclavier must live a far more exciting life than me. :)
