    Hey guys

I wanted to share this freeware VST host application which can be a life saver
It can run any 64 or 32 bit *.dll based plugin.
The way I found this very handy application (this can turn any vst dll to a Standalone desktop app) was through Xfer SERUM.
So when you install SERUM and you choose standalone you basically install T2's NanoHost which becomes SERUM's standalone interface.
Because the whole industry switched to 64 bit DAWs and plugins only
this can be very useful to run x86 vst instrument plugins or 64 bit plugins which don't have standalone version.

Just a quick note: The latest update is v1.2.2 and the latest SERUM only uses v1.0.0 so anyone can update the standalone for free.

Nanohost is an evolution of Herman Seib hosts. It is himself who made Nanohost for Tone2, in collaboration with two other developers.

ohh didnt know, but nanohost is just so big compared to savihost. which is sometimes important you know.

prefer savihost as long as it works and if need a full small daw with fast loading time, i go for reaper, its just so fast even on older systems.

Yea another cool thing about these are (doesn't matter if it's Nanohost or Savihost)
Just copy the nanohost or savihost exe to the folder you have your *.dll or *VST3 and rename the exe exactly to the same name as your plugin
    Really cool
Sometimes when I just want to explore with minimum resources (I don't want to run Ableton) random synths I just use Nanohost or Savihost
Thanks I had no idea about savihost it's cool to have a host for VST3s

    Hi
I just want to update.. I recently purchased the WAVE HARMONY and Waves TUNE Realtime vsts
and I found that Nanovsthost will not load the waves tune VST claiming it has an error.

By chance I found that by renaming it to a simple name say autotune.dll it will load it.

The Waves Harmony and Waves Tune products are activated in the same dll
    "WaveShell1-VST 14.19_x64.dll"

If you install Wave Tune alone, Nanovsthost will claim it is not compatible.
however just rename "WaveShell1-VST 14.19_x64.dll" to "autotune.dll" and it will load.

    ================================================================================
If you purchased BOTH products their function is combined into one DLL (VST) and you may have to keep choosing it.

    Solution
    1. Ruin Wave central
    2. Remove all the VST installed.
    3. Install only ONE VST waves tune
    4. copy the WaveShell1-VST 14.19_x64.dll to "autotune.dll"
    5. Remove all the vst installed
    6. Install Waves Harmony
    7. copy the WaveShell1-VST 14.19_x64.dll to "harmony.dll"
    8. Install BOTH products using wave central
    9. this will create a new WaveShell1-VST 14.19_x64.dll
    10. You are done.
    ====================

Using this technique you can also download SAVIHOST
    A. Rename Savihost.exe to autotune.exe and it will load the waves tune.
    B. Rename Savihost.exe to harmony.exe and it will load the harmony.dll

this way you can load each one independently...
