    I have used this plug-in (AU), and like how its compression works. Myself, I prefer to use compression that doesn't sound like "compression" – that is, such that at least the effect doesn't call attention to itself and at best isn't readily apparent. That's a difficult balance to strike, but when vocals or acoustic instruments sound too compressed, they grate on my hearing and on my nerves. When an overall mix has too much compression, the main thing I hear is the compression. In such cases, I'll just forego listening to something because the overbearing compression renders it unbearable. The Tokyo Dawn Feedback Compressor can be sufficiently discrete, to my ears.
