BTW why would it be a problem to invest 400€/$ for a DAW ??? are u serious abt making music?
There is still a solution like Reaper, if you just start and wanna try out.

I didnt bought C5 ,but with my upcoming projects i will make gladely that purchase C9 ! My point was clear as a sun,because of leechers who have more than enough money and are using cracked Cubase from my expirience,i wish that NEVER EVER come any MAJOR Software cracked! We have more than enough like is said above in posts,and we have good free versions of Cubase Nuendo reFX Vengeance,and all can practicly run unlimited if you use brains! Because of post like this ,you can not trial cubase elements 9 for XY day like C8 was ,now you have to autorize online with elicencer! Do you wanna to cut of and Vengeance Avenger because of shit loads and ungrateful users!? R2R and ofc AiR H2O are the people make for us so much with countless DAWs VSTi etc. Why we need any crapy REASON 9! With vst totaly uninturitive,totaly unfair for trialing ! I hate that kid of fuckers,you can demo product but you cant reopen project in demo time as no audio export ! Why that ? And somebidy have mentoined that Ableton Lite was free! Yes so as Cubase 6 LE and it is licenced and registered i have bought dongle and most better way to use licence even is taking some resources,just plug and play on whatever PC and you are good to go! Oh man i sam sounding like i am working for steinberg and some advertiser,but man think about KARMA! I was i Germany for year and a half,and men those people are so polite you have everything at your disposal,good conditions to make money and fair pays but for return you have to buy legal stuff and that is how should be normal world! I have bought legal PRO TOOLS 10 in 2011 i was thinking that will make me better,you know i was testing my taste i was no cubase power user at all at that time, but once i instaled it i find that soft was so hard even for seting up projects and to me that was limiting me and frustrating and i sold it for 50e and just not to look at that shit and will never suport devs like pro tools they aded audio fading in recent versions ,hahahah das ist komisch! Why i then have not bought cubase? Because my land is fucking thievs and i didnt have possibilities to buy cubase for normal reasonable price but in that time and 250e more then real price and pro tool was bought in Osterich Austria!

iA yes u are right, my statmenet is for people with western style montly income of abt 1200-2000 Euros.
But still u can go free with Reaper and only invest in a ASIO soundcard

 

I hope someone cracks a modern cubase soon. It is so anoying and funny at the same time that so many people think cubase is the ultimate shit and with it they would make so much better music.
I have cubase 8.5 and yes its nice but i still use other daws. It is a nice daw package but by all means nothing you need to make good music.

 

its just easier to have fast results, if you know how to use Cubase:

 

Nowadays? Has pretty much always been (the old Steinberg USB licenser was just a custom branded eLicenser from what I understand).
