Hi all! Say I have two pre-recorded instruments and want them to sound like one (two electric pianos is my actual case). What are the tricks of the trade you guys have for that purpose?

modify or fiter the pitches to match or be more similiar to each other. then attempt to form them into a more piano like waveform

A piano is a percussive stringed instrument, a felt hammer hits the strings. so a sudden attack and then tapering off would be the sound you are looking for.

put a piano sample in a daw
put your instruments in a different channel and modify it to be more similiar to the piano.

its much like an an artist putting a painting in a layer of photoshop
and then drawing over it in another layer.

    except its ears, not eyes..
