Time Machine backup question

    Hello

    I have a question.

    I have backed up my Mac and when I looked at the Time Machine back up size it was a lot bigger than the last ones I have. I looked at it and there are duplicate folders (see photos)

    There is Macintosh HD - Data and then there is Macintosh HD - Data 1

    What is this?, am I ok to get rid of the Data 1?

    I know that on previous occasions when I have restored from my Time Machine backup and there have been two duplicates, when I click on the very first one, it doesn't do anything or progress to password setting etc. I have to choose the one below for it to progress...
