Time delay programs causing clicks in logic

    Hi
    Whenever I use plugins that affect speed playback (melda mrhythmizer and cableguys halftime) the audio I'm using it on has a very audible clicky distortion. I've tried changing the I/O buffer size and that hasn't helped. I've tried bouncing the audio in place and it bounces out with the clicks in it. Has anyone else had this problem? I searched and can't find anything to do with this, just found some clicky distortion stuff affecting old versions of logic (nothing to do with these plugins either)

    I'm using Logic Pro X 10.4.1 running Sierra 10.12
