    Very peculiar, the video too.
    Maybe just varying time signatures or tempo automatons.
    Or maybe the producer decided not to follow the grid.

    3/4 or 6/8 time signature. Your DAW should be able to switch from 4/4/ to 3/4 time sig.

    Would you say the bass line has a triplet feel? Ill experiment with those time signatures, If anyone knows any other songs like this that aren't 4/4 id love to hear more. Its difficult to get a smooth feel outside 4/4 but with the right samples its magical!
